It was unseasonably cool temperatures while we were there, but it still beat the heck out of the temps in Missouri during the same time. Had a great time and hope to return in the future.

I really like that area, never been there when a jacket was needed though, but have seen a hard thunderboomer there and green desert 5 days later.

    Thanks for the pictures.

Wow, nice pics and no leaf filled trees waving in the background. Kinda' looks like cheating to this Kentucky boy. Did anyone ever miss a target there?

We don't have a concrete past the 20 yard line here which is considered long yardage. Most of us get much closer so we can swat um' with a tennis racket when they come out!

    Mike,

Click on the link above. It's a mapquest map showing the route from the convention center to TT&S.

    Markdenis,

I was going to attend the Spring Grand this year, however I received a yard in the mail at the end of the last target year and that put me all the way back on the 20 and that's just way to far back to shoot hdcp, targets look like baby aspirins that far back!!

If I can target manage a yard or two closer to the house this year, I may just take my tennis racket and go to Tucson next year, or heck, maybe even the Grand. I here the Martin's have donated some ole Kentucky boy a bunch of jingle for this year's shoot, might as well be me or you.

    What do ya think?

Sounds like a plan, but you have to remember a perfect 100 is all you can turn in and that should at least tie. However, here is the problem...my tennis racket does not have a release which will surely cause a bad flinch somewhere during the event and I will most likely knock myself out in the process. So I am basically screwed!

Seriously, trap-pr thanks for the picks especially when I have looked at more snow than I care to in the last few months. I wished I could have been there.
