    Cleaning out the files in the loading room today.

    Ran into this bill of sales 3/24/2000.

    Rem. shot $11.65 per bag

    I almost don't want to admit it,, but i do remember that price & still have 1, 5# bag of #12,, yes #12 sitting on the loading bench. Ross

    On the flip side though; a lot of you will probably still remember around 1980 or so when shot prices went right thorugh the roof. Am not sure of the exact year, but I pretty much got out of shotgunning then and shot 3-D archery for for a number of years.

    1982 or 1983....K's Merchandise Mart was selling shot for under $5/bag. Guys from work would pool money and one of us would take a truck to Bloomington and pile on as much as the tires would take.

    I agree with you Shannon. If not under $15.00 it will be definitely in the upper teens. Everyone should hold out as long as you can before buying.
