I saw a program on TV saturday night called shooting stars. Scott Robertson and a couple pro's were teamed with celebrity's like Karl Malone, etc.

Am I just the last guy to hear about this? I haven't seen it mentioned here before.

I've watched it a couple of times. Tom Knapp is one of the Pro's. He's a great guy who became sick a couple of years ago and was fired by Bennilli who sponsored him. He is now sponsored by CZ America. A novel program.

Grunt, I think you are talking about Star Shot, from many years ago. Shooting Stars is filled I think in the Dallas area, most likely Elm Fork (Scott Robertsons home range) and is a pretty good show. Karl Malone does pretty well as the "amateur" shooter, while Scott, Tom Knapp and Tim Bradley do their pro-shooting with another couple of actors teamed up with them. Mike* (MH*)

What channel, day and time did you see this "Shooting Star"? I'd like to check it out. I remember watching the short lived "Star Shot". They had the lighted vertical grid where the shooters had to bust the clays in a certain section to score.

Not exactly sure of the day (have it programmed into my DVR), but it is on the Velocity Channel, and I have Direct-TV and it was originally one of the high-def special channels, but might be on other cable systems. Sorry for no more information than this. Might do a "google" search, just haven't had time to do that for you. Mike* (MH*)
