Maybe you are nervous and as soon as you realize that you no longer have a chance you calmn down and do very well. It's happened to all of us. How many times in singles have I broke a 20 on the first trap and then run the last 75? More then once I can assure you. I am not poking at you with this response as I have had the same thing happen many times. I also went through phase where I would shot two practices and break 48 or 49 in practice just before the shoot and then I would go out and break 40 on the first two traps. I no longer practice except for 2 shots or so from each post prior to a shot. I thought it was recoil having a cumlative effect. Who knows??? Just know that you are not the first to have this happen too you.Jeff

Maybe your gun has to warm up before it starts to shoot good. HMB

Phil......What you need to do is warm up and shoot practice before you start shooting! It seems that it takes you a while to get going.....a common problem! When your scores get better....THEN start shooting!
