What color lenses are you guys using for your shooting glasses.

One color work for most conditions?

A lot depends on the background. Our club has a background of trees, and a purple tint makes the trees seem gray and distant while allowing the bird to shine through. I like smoked gray lenses for bright light with a light colored background, and clear works best for me at night, even though many people recommend yellow for low light conditions. What works for some may not work for all. Call Sam Cherry at Decot and he can help you out.

I use a rose clored lens in all light conditons. Seems to brightne the cloudy days and mute the sunny ones.

I use a yellow in low/lower/flat light conditions. In bright sunlight I use a Ranger CMT, but have had good success with purples. Over snow, I use a polarized brown.

I just got new lenes, I had a light purple which I still use on overcast days. My new ones are taget orange and dark purple, I really like the dark purple on bright days with green background. I purchased mine from Frank Robertson (shooting glaasses specialist) Hanover Pa. He took forever, but made it right with a free set of lenes and a free set of frames with a new free case. He also did a great job on my Rx. Ranger RE

Everyones eyes see colors different. With that said I like dark purple for sunny days and I like Tangerine for the cloudy days.

I use the polarized grey lens. I have light colored grey and dark colored grey. On really dak days I use clear.

The colored lens drive me nuts. I fully agree with the above post. Everyones eyes are different. Try different lens untilyou find the one you like.

While everyone has color that works best for them depending on back ground and lighting conditions it all depends on how YOUR perception of the colors.
