If it is more than a light sprinkle, I don't shoot...period! Like the country song says: "I'm against fishin' (& shootin') in the rain."! Best Regards, Ed

you should be on your own when shooting in the rain. i'm not so bored as to want to read the ata rulebook. but in sporting clays, there's a rule which states that no one can stand within 3 feet of the shooter. however, squads regularly get into the shooting box, with their big, six foot golf umbrellas, to cover their squad mate who is about to shoot. it's an obvious rule violation. it's ridiculous. yet it happens all the time and it's never called. good luck with it

Excepting for the stuff-it in a bag Gortex from Cabela's and lens change, plus waterproof footwear, no change. When shooting ATA competition, rain's part of the game... Gun goes back to the trailer for a complete D&C between events.

    break 'em all...mike
