How many people shoot by moving their arms instead of rigid arms and swinging hips

I had always used the latter but there may be places for the former such as close angle or short time exposure shots

The arms can move faster the the body but there are limitations to the technique

Stumbled onto it shooting skeet low 8 and found it quite effective. I broke the bird much faster than I used to

Head stays glued to the stock and as I said, the swing is very short.

It isnt always easy to detect what others are doing

    thoughts?

People that shoot by moving their arms don't hit very many trap targets.

Ideally, all body movement should be from the waist down.
