SHOCKING ABC News on Obama/USA Infrastructure

Diane Sawyer reporting on U.S. bridge projects going to the Chinese... NOT Americans.

The bridges are right here in the U.S. and yet Obama has approved for Chinese contractors to come in and do the work. What about jobs for Americans???

Watch this video. It doesn't take long to view.

This one should be tough for the supporters of the current regime to swallow....AND it comes from ABC NEWS...no Snopes or Wikileaks on this one!!

U.S.A. Bridges and Roads Being Built by Chinese Firms
Shocking to say the least! This video is a jaw-dropper that will make you sick. (It was also shocking that ABC was actually reporting this story.)

The lead-in with Obama promising jobs in the U.S. by improving our infrastructure is so typical of all his promises! Our tax dollars are at work - for CHINA !!!

I pray all the unemployed see this and cast their votes accordingly in 2012!

I wonder if Obama's union supporters are still going to vote for him?

FYI,The bay bridge in California that is being built in China was ok'd by the Bush Administration. The bridge was being built in China, put on barges, shipped to California and then installed by American workers. FYI.

This Union Carpenter will not be voting for the SOB to be re-elected. I've learned my lesson.

What's all the fuss about one trifling bridge? The Chinese finance 40% of the U.S. deficit spending. Good gawd, they OWN the bridges... not to mention Gub'mint Motors, etc.

I'd suggest obummer had something to do with it but spending bills originate in the House of Representatives. Pelosi had a bullet proof socialist majority during the first two years of obummer's term. She could and did, ram that sh't through on straight party line votes. Reid had the same bullet proof "friends of the working man" majority.

    Congrats Bob, they're YOUR people.

    Sissy,

I am now 52 years old. I admit that I was not concerned with politics whatsoever until the 2000 election when I voted in my first Presidential Election. I voted for Bush. I also voted for Bush in '04. Both elections I voted my gun rights and my abortion beliefs. In '08, being a union carpenter, I voted my work. Democrats were typically "Union Friendly" or so I had been told for years by my union. I believed Obama's message for change. I did not realize that my change would come so quickly, though.

I had been employed by a general contractor as a Construction Superintendent. I had been with this particular contractor for 6 years. On election day, right after I had voted, I and 15 other superintendents were laid off, a couple of them had worked for this contractor for 15 years. It seemed that I got my change before the man had even been inaugurated. I do not know if the other guys also voted for him or not.

My local District Coucil can not and does not tell me to vote Democratic. They do interview all local candidates for their views and stand on organized labor and they will endorse and suggest thet we follow their suggestions be they Democrat or Republican. I have no say in where my union donates our money, but I do have a say in which candidate I vote for. Just because I am a union memeber it does not make all the Democrats, "MY people". I am a union member because of the benefits of a living wage, health and retirement benefits, safe work place and a higher standard of living that I would not have as a non-union construction worker. I have chosen to be a union carpenter just as other people coose not to be union. I am not going to not be a union man because of thier politics. Sorry, I have to take some of the bad with the good.

The construction industry has taken the largest hit than any other industyr in this economic downturn.

As I states earlier, I have admitted to my mistake, and will not be voting for Obama in November.

As useless as Obama is I don't think he can be blamed for BBB beind laid off. Like Obama always says: "It's Bush's fault".

    BOB,
You said, "a living wage", what does that mean and how much does it take in dollars to be called a living wage?

    John, I hadn't thought of that!!LOL

    391,

A living wage is a wage that allows you save a little money and not live paycheck to paycheck. Not every dime is going for rent or mortgage, to the utility companies, etc. You can save a little money, go shoot a few rounds of trap or take a little vacation. You are able to live without always looking over your shoulder or constantly worrying about where the next meal is coming from. I can't put a dollar amount on it but being a union carpenter and with the benefits associated with union membership, I have the money that I would be spending on Health insurance and pension that is mine to save or spend. To me it is having a little disposable income to enjoy.

Learn to live within your means. I HAD to belong to 4 different unions until I finished my trade (6 yr. apprentice) and then told them to stuff it. All the UNIONS are for is your union dues. Made out much better without the union in my pocket. The reason is about half the members didn't do their job. That union is gone (The International Typographical Union) Most worthless union I knew of. Dues were based on your wages. At the time (1960-1965) I was in it was 5% off the top. Apprenctice only paid 1&. DG

I assume that a "living wage" included unlimited trapshooting. I wonder if it also includes things like, a motorhomes, regular Hawaii vacations, eating steak 5 times a week, a Harley, a jet airplane on call etc. I require all these so apparently I'm not being paid a "living wage"..... Is there a union I can join that will provide my "living wage"?

Mr. galt, you should know better than to assume. I'm not sure, Mr. Galt. Sounds more like a Politicians living wage instead of a working man's living wage to me. Or maybe the President of the ATA.
