Shipping Gun to Yourself at Shoots

    Is it legal to UPS or FED EX a gun to yourself at a gun club out of state ?
    The club in Texas has a ammo room to receive it !

    You can, but it has to be addressed to you. Meaning the address is where you are shipping it to, but the name on the package must be yours. You are the one that has to open the package.

    Yes. A person may ship a firearm to himself or herself in care of another person in the State where he or she intends to hunt or engage in any other lawful activity. The package should be addressed to the owner. Persons other than the owner should not open the package and take possession of the firearm.

    I also did it. USPS from GRB to PHX, addressed to me in care of my friend's shop.

    I just didn't want the TSA monkeys fondling my stuff. Or my junk either for that matter.
