    Nah. It is pretty straightforward.

Make sure your label says "ORM-D Small Arms Ammunition" in obvious-size print, and request ground shipping.

There are no uplift charges - just regular ground rates. Don't say what is in it unless they ask, just tender it for ground shipping.

If its so straight foward then can explain to me Why Cabela's charge me for shotshell reloading supplies; ie. powder shot and primer. Is 20.00 sure charge ontop of normal shipping. Whats really troubling they won't ship to the store for instore pick up.

There is a haz-mat charge on powder and primers, but not on loaded ammunition. Doesn't make any sense, thats just the way it is. Just be happy they don't charge us hazmat on loaded ammo too....

    made half,

If you're ordering reloading supplies from Cabelas, the shipping charge is the least of your troubles! Their prices are, shall we say, "less than competitive."

"ORM-D materials" are materials such as a consumer commodity, which although is subject to the regulations presents a limited hazard during transportation due to its form, quantity and packaging.

Consumer commodities are materials that are packaged and distributed in a form intended for, or suitable for sale through retail sales.

Powder & primers are for the manufacture of ammo, therefore do not fall under ORM-D (Other Regulated Materials-Domestic)
