Does anyone know what the shell prices are at the Wal-Mart in Sparta for the Grand American?

I am leaving this week for the Grand and I would like to know.

    Thanks.

STS & AA were $70 a flat last week.

They had a good selection. Several skids of both in various loads.

The state wide sales tax imposed by the Illinois Dept. of Revenue is 6.25%. Many municipalities (including Sparta) add to that. The rate in Sparta for "general merchandise" is 6.75%.

I was there on Saturday. Remington STS were $70 - the same for Winchester AA's. There is a rebate coupon for $100, which equates to $2.00 per box. Gun club were $55.00 They had a mountain of them of all of them.

Sales taxes apply to retail sales (shells and other merchandise) on the WSRC grounds. Unless the grounds have been annexed, the rate would be 6.25%.

$70 a flat, $2 a box rebate, sell STS empties for $.04 each, Heck, that's only $4 a box plus tax to shoot the good stuff!

Ever tried to sell STS's? Since the purchase of shells at the grand became non-cumpulsory and since the price of premium shells went up, they (sts's)have become harder to get in any quantity, at least near me. I'll keep subtracting the dollar. STS's sold for 3 to 3 1/2 cents here when they were plentiful. 4 cents is not out of line.

How much does the hull cost on the second loading? 3 thru 10?

The hull has a cost every time you load it. Just gets lower each time each time you do.
