shell deflector stud for 1100

    I want to try to put a shell deflector stud on the barrel tang of an 1100 barrell. Does anyone have pics and dimensions as to where it needs to be.

    It needs to be 1 1/4" from the end.

    Does anyone have pics and dimensions of the deflector stud on an 1100?

    Location:
    South of Dallas
    I drill and tap the hole 5-40 as close to the edge as practical, use red Loctite and screw the screw in from the top until there is about .040 or .050 of threads showing. Let the loctite setup, grind the top part of the screw away and you are all set.
