    Good for you shootlow. I have 5 bird dogs, all rescues, and my entire life revolves around them.

    It won't take her long to realize how lucky of a dog she is to have someone like you to take care of her. Good luck with her and enjoy her company.

    Way to go Jim! The only thing you'll regret is that you didn't do this sooner. Great looking dog. By the way, if you don't have a door that you can put a dog door into, they now have replacement sliding glass doors that have a dog door built in. Give us a report from time to time. Mike

    We adopted a Female Black Lab (Raven) some 7 / 8 years ago & my life will never be the same. She is with me all day long, watches my every move, listens to every word I say. Nobody else does that around here!

    Shoot Low, thats great we rescued a lab two years ago, she was wild. Now she's the best dog in the world.

    People who abandon dogs like that should spend a year in jail.

    My son found a young lab mix locked in the backyard of an abandoned home in Detroit. He saved a good dog that would have died in a couple of days.
