From mid-range, 24 yds to 25 yds, should you use 7 1/2 or 8's? What do you guys think?? 1 1/8 of shot!

Remember, some people dont live on this site and are just looking for some help. How about trying to give him a little info on trying to research the subject. By the way, I like 9's for everything. Modified for 16 and full for handicap.

I like 7 3/4s when they can be found with a .03875 choke made out of p40 steel with acme threads but only on tuesdays.Really 8s with a full choke will do the job for you if you do your part.

More is better - shoot the #8s from everywhere except 16 yards and then it should be 8 1/2s and the first shot of doubles which should be one ounce of #9s.

All I can say is that shooting 7/8 oz from the 16, I have better resulys with 8s than 7-1/2s.

I am a little slow, usually breaking targets at the top of the arch, or perhaps JUST before that. I figure that to be about 40 yds. and the pattern is just a tad thin with 7-1/2s at 40 yds.

Oh yes, full choke 32" BT, 1200 fps.
