Boy,am I gonna cause a riot with this one!!! The ONLY trap club that I have had good food at was Lincoln Park Traps, now closed, damn you Dalys,in Chicago.
Also found a decent breakfast at the Iowa stae shoots in the late '80's.
I NEVER,EVER eat at a trap club if I am shooting for serious.

    RungunIPSC,

We might have shot together at LPT in Chicago between 1984 and the day they closed in the mid 90's. LPT was a great club and I could walk there from my home then.

As soon as I hear "Lincoln Park Traps," my ears perk up. Yes, what was good were the hamburgers, and our full time cook, what was her name..older lady. After her we had two lesbians, Nikky was one and I can't remember her girl friend, and they also made great lunches. Here's some trapshooter names to test your long term memories: Mort Froy (RIP)and Jerry Froy, Lee Mabie, Rufus Taylor (RIP), Leaman Ames, Milo Meadors, Bill Cahill. Mort Froy and Leaman Ames were the best.

We also had some of the best skeet shooters in the country: Bob Shuley, Bill Barton, John Shima and Pat Bartel.

Quite a place. We shot right into Lake Michigan, and Mayor Daley's office was less than 5 miles away. Richard J. Daley, not the scoundrel we have now. Richard J. Daley became famous for his "shoot to kill" order for anyone caught looting during the Democratic convention riots.

You missed a million dollar opportunity by not getting a picture of the cops face when he leaned into the car. Very funny. I've seen one clean up with a garden hose in my life and it's not much fun. Dan
