If we weren't old and feeble we wouldn't be shooting trap.

I don't think this will work. Two or three full price shooters at a 100 shooter event won't pay the bills. Roger, (Soon to be a Sr. Vet)

I think we should give a discount to young shooters and shooters with young families. These are the people who are strapped for extra cash and are the future of the ATA.
All the old farts are the ones with the half million dollar motor homes and the high dollar guns, with the time and money to use them.

Why not just set a sliding scale pricing structure for targets and such and require everyone to bring in there latest federal income tax return and depending on the bottom line and where you fall into the scale that is what you pay.

Charge them all the same. Charge a 12yr old the same as a 82yr old and be sure that is the same price as a 47yr old and everyone else registering that day ... charge them all the same and keep it fare!

jbmi: I'm an old fart and no, I do not have a halfmillion dollar motor home, nor do I have a high dollar gun. I do, however, have a grandson and a granddaughter who are shooting occasionally and our club's reduced junior prices are a boon to a normal person on a fixed income. (I provide cheap shells for them too).

Junior shooting needs to be for more young people than just the ones who have parents that are well off.

We give free shooting tickets to all the Hunter Safety grads, and some of them have continued shooting afterwards.

Junior shooters are the ones who need it. Parents may not be able to afford shooting for kids unless they get a little help.

870smokim. You are wrong in one instance. The poster above you (bas) needs some help. She will certainly make the All American team again but probably will not be the Captain of the team and, she has to get shells for both herself and Roger. Yes, Betty needs help. If she hadn't moved so far away, I would help her.
