Think the southern SEC teams could handel it? Ever play football in longjohns??Cold fingers and a frozen field? Inquiring minds want to know.
Are the warmweather bowl games an advantage for the SEC teams? Do the Big Ten lugs suffer in the hot weather?
College football playoffs are the only way to know.

    Dove Commander,

I think that if there was a college playoff system implemented the big ten wouldn't have to worry about weather of any sort because they would not be in the playoffs. SEC and BIG 12 dominate, period. The big ten and pac ten are the opponents against a "College Playoff System". They know what would happen and will lose millions if a playoff is agreed to.
Prime example, this year in the rose bowl, Illinois ??, get real, those clowns didn't deserve a bowl appearence.
Pac 10, who does usc play, nobody. SEC and BIG 12, it is a war every sat.

Lets get it on, we're ready.

LSU lost 2 regular season games. They sucked too at times. Take their passing game away, and they really suck. Wind, rain, and weather requires a more rounded game. The team with the most balanced offense/defense would have the advantage. Plus they would have to TRAVEL througout the playoff. Final game would not be played on a "Home Field". LSU drove 60 miles to the game, and slept in their own beds. Nope, no advantage there?

Overtime Loses, WARS. I am glad you started your whinning, remember the BCS game 3 yrears ago now ? The Texas Longhorns and usc ? Travel ! Longhorns National Champions, Travel, get a clue.
Take their passing away and call it balanced ? LSU will Dominate ANY big ten or pac ten this year. The 2 loses is because they play teams with talent. Ohio st. "Illinois", Michigan "APP. State", What strength of SCHEDULE ?

Like I said the big ten and pac 10 are scared to death of a College Playoff System.
Weather will never be a problem because no big ten team will ever be in the playoff...........

The coach does not play the game Jr., "the ohio state" got their ass's kicked. Same excuses last year when Florida kicked your ass, "the ohio state" had 365 days to prepare for this game. If, you are not satisfied with trussel fire him, guess what the coach that will replace him will not play a game either.
QUIT your whinning because it is in the RECORDS THAT L.S.U. BEAT "the ohio state" and L.S.U. ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

TO THE VICTORS BELONGS THE SPOILS.......................

Dove Commander - FYI - Bret Farve grew up a stones throw from the MS Gulf Coast, played college ball at Univ of Southern MS located in Hattiburg, MS which is a few miles north of the MS Gulf Coast. Donald Lee, the TE, grew up outside Maben, MS - played college ball at Ms State Univ, both of which are about 150 miles south of the MS/TN state line. Donald Driver, WR, played college ball at Alcorn A&M located just outside Natchez, MS ---------- looks like these southerners (and others too) handle the Green Bay weather OK------ As for the mention of Ohio State being "out coached" - I watched LSU all season -I don't think their coach is guilty of out coaching anyone - LSU is just big, strong , fast and has depth........

Football (and baseball) is an outdoor sport and should always be played outdoors! The ability to adapt to and preform in any weather condition is the mark of Champions.
