Sea ducks are old squaw, eiders, golden eyes and other divers and yes they taste like crap since they are fish eaters, and you will shoot them on the ocean or at least on the bays. Land ducks, mallards, black ducks, teal, widgeon, non diving dabblers that eat vegetation. usually shot from a boat blind or land blind on lakes or sloughs. If you get a chance you gotta go for the sea ducks, they are beautiful, and damn hard to hit.

Sea ducks can humble you with their speed, you will be amazed at how far you are behind them the first time you shoot at one. Use to send them to the questionable parts of town as we sure as hell wouldn't eat them.

Kelly, we Marylander's who live on the coast don't consider the golden eye a sea duck. While it is true that they are diving ducks they are usually good eating. Smart as hell too.

The classification, I believe ,is either PUDDLE or DIVING ducks! And,yes, the sea divers taste like one of Gordy's blanks!

Any attempt to cook a sea duck within city limits will get you a jail sentence - or should!
