SCREEN SIZE FOR SHOT RECOVERY?

    I have quite abit of shot on my farm from where we had a skeet field for several years,I may make a trommel this winter to try and recover it. Do any of you know or would tell me what is the best size screen I need to use? thanks!

    I use two different size screens. The first cleaning I use a coarse screen to get rid of the large pieces of debris. Then I use a fine screen to separate the shot from the sand. HMB

    I use a Tyler Precision Sieve that I got on ebay years ago. It's a no. 8 I think and the size is .0937. Anything that doesn't go through the sieve goes back in the melt pot. I can run 10 lbs through it in roughly 5-10 seconds so it goes really fast.
