.22 rifle has grooves on top of receiver for scope. New TruGlo red dot scope has "Weaver Style Mount". Any way to attach a Weaver base to the receiver grooves so that I can mount the scope?

You can buy an adapter plate, probably have to order it from Midway. Or you could drill and tap for weaver style scope bases.

Boy I don't know if you can do that but you could try calling the guys at Sinclair Technical Support: 260-482-3670 and ask them.
