I'm waiting for the new Remington 11-87 XCS Waterfowl.....MSRP is less than $800 and it's hard to beat the 11-87's.

Good luck with your new gun....

I did the same comparison 3 years ago and opted for the Extrema. Their not that bad to clean, much easier than the 391's, they are softer shooting, and they shoot a higher POI which I prefer.
However, in ultra cold, wet weather, the SBE gets the nod. They don't call it the "Arkansas Parker" for nothing.

I may not like the new 11-87....if I don't like the way it shoulders, then I'll stick with the 390. I only use 2-3/4" HD shells anyway as we hunt over decoys so there's no skybusting and long range pass shooting.

It'll be interesting.....it looks good, but???

I bought the extremaII for goose hunting, Found that I like so much I have been shooting it for everything from doves to geese, target loads to 3-1/2 waterfoul shells it workes great with no adjustments.
