My great grandfather had one of these and i have inerited it from my grandfather. Does anyone know any thing about these? I have searched quite a bit and found nothing really to speak of. It looks like the springfields used in WWI but it is Savage Arms and in 22.

I had one years ago and shot it for years. Of all the guns I regret selling, it's that one. It had a five shot mag. Do you have the peep sights?

I have searched for another one and have never seen one since. Also, I can't find a listing in the gun books.

If you ever want to sell it, let me know,

From your picture, exactly the same except mine has the original peep sight not a scope. But that may be original also. Accurate as heck if i may add. I will look to see if i have one of mine on some flash drive.

I also have one with the peep sights. What ever you do--DON'T LOSE THE MAGAZINE!!
If one can be found at all it will run you north of $50.00!
