A friend of mine has a Savage 99 in .300 Savage with an extra .410 barrel. I told him that I had never heard of that. Anyone know about these or what they are worth?

Savage did make this combo. It's value will depend upon condition.

I think one of the Classic Levers ever made.

Awesome. Man, I'd love to get my hands on one of those for my lever gun collection.

Sadly, I'll bet they're too pricey.

This isa an older gun. Likely a Model 99F, Featherweight 1920-1940
This is a take down model. Premium for extra 410 Barrel.
    Condition will be important.

I owned a .410 bore Savage 99 back in the early 1980s...hard to put a price on one; mine was just the .410 lever action model - no other barrel. Sold it for about $125...it would only operate as a single shot; you could not put shells in the magazine and operate the lever to feed shells. Interesting then, but I needed something else. Best Regards, Ed

I actually saw this combo on GA, and it was $3,300. Came in a nice, custom two barrel case.

I have a customer that I do a lot of work for on his boats and he has one of these. He even has the factory leather carry case and his set up is in what I would consider around 92%. He had NO IDEA what it was worth when he asked if I'd install a scope on it for him. I told him that there are some things that just shouldn't be done and this was one of them!

My favorite lever gun by far!
