Savage 330 O/U 20ga. Assembly info-help

    I received this shot gun taken apart and could use any assembly tips. Thank you! Richard

    Try going to Numrich arms site,they have schematics of most if not all firearms there. If by Taken apart,you mean most of it will fit in a baggie,save some time and take it to a gunsmith.

    How far taken apart? The barrel slips down into the receiver from the top, with the cocking lever pushed to the side. It only goes together when the hammers are cocked. If someone has dry fired it, you have to pull the rear stock and cock the hammers. If someone took all the receiver parts apart, you are beyond me. Mark

    Oregunner has posted the key note on the savage 330.
    Schematics should be available from Numrich / Gunparts and possibly Brownells.
    Matchup parts into sections like safety,trigger,hammers etc. and reassemble
