    100straight,

I dunno. Ask those Republicans I now respect that AGREED to release the findings! And the AK courts, and then the AK Supreme Court. One of which was appointed by TP, I mean SP.

Give 'em a ring up there in AK, you betcha!

If I had a drunk trooper, that is tasering a 10 year old, I would do everything in my power to remove him from his job. LOE's are human too, and are capable of crimes. Hell I live outside of Detroit and they are still looking for the killer of Tamara Green. She was the stripper at Kwame's party that was murdered to keep her mouth shut. The other stripper was killed in Atlanta. Greens shell casings, were from a Detroit police officers firearm.

A bipartisan committee of Alaska legislators voted 12-0 on Friday to release a report stating that Gov. Sarah Palin broke state law in firing former public safety commissioner Walt Monegan.

I'll bet all that evidence doesn't mean a vote in the difference to those that are going to vote in this election. Republicans are used to being lied too, they understand it as part of the job of polititions. They think if in office abuse your power and no questions will be asked. Look what George did in Iraq, with the energy commission. WE could go on for ever. But I didn't like him to start with, the republicans was the group who wanted these people in power. Dan

    Jerbear,

the issue isnt the cretin trooper wooten. He is a MORON. But that is not the point. Its the mindset of the Gov of Ak.
    NONE of it is "healthy".

Lets see. If wooten gets dismissed...hands in his gun and badge cause he is dangerous to the Gov and family. BTW, right after SP got elected she dismissed her personal security detail to save money. That is part of the report.

Now back to wooten. Lets say he WAS dismissed. After he was already reprimanded and sanctioned by the AK DPS. NOW HE IS REALLY MAD. Do ya think he doesnt have more guns? Is he still not a danger to SP and TP? So they do the wise thing and have security detail dropped.

    trooper wooten with gun?
    citizen wooten with gun?

if he was a threat, it was not because he was a trooper.
And no one found him to be that, threat.

    It aint good.

McCain should have seen this coming and went with Tom Ridge.

    GBTUSA.

She was found to have abused her power, but broke no laws. Hell, I do that all the time.

This is a tempest in a teapot and means little in the grand scheme of things.

At least she had the intestinal fortitude to do SOMETHING! The democrap obama couldn't do anything but vote "present". Not that's a real good example of the type of person we need in the highest office in the land.

No, I think SP will do just fine, thank you very much!!

The findings........meh....so what. Doesn't change anything as far as I'm concerned. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. I'd have that guys ass in the unemployment line too if he did what is reported. I guarantee you one thing, Palin is still "more innocent" than 99 percent of politicians voted into office and a landslide more free of conviction than that socialist lying POS Democrat running for office.

"A bipartisan committee of Alaska legislators voted 12-0 on Friday to release a report stating that Gov. Sarah Palin broke state law in firing former public safety commissioner Walt Monegan."

    WRONG: Read your article again:

"In the second finding, Branchflower says Monegan's refusal to fire Wooten was not the sole reason for his dismissal but that it was a "contributing factor." Still, he said, Palin's firing of Monegan was "a proper and lawful exercise" of the governor's authority."

SJK, you are just as good at twisting the truth as is your candidate. You should work for his campaign...that is, if you aren't already.

Dept heads serve at the pleasure of the Governor. Had Palin NOT been a VP hopeful, this wouldn't have made page six anywhere in the US other than maybe Alaska.

Palin may not be perfect....same for Mc Cain....But I've noticed that both of them stand at attention and salute our flag. Obama does NOT.

I hate to even ponder Obamas Agenda for our Country.
