Surprise establishment R's,,,,many people don't like mittens' arrogance and the establishment telling the people who to vote for,,,,like they did with Dole and McCain,,,,could get interesting the next few weeks (as well as VERY negative and dirty).....

Drudge and the Des Moines Register are showing Ron Paul in the lead (the register has him in the lead by 20 votes).

This vote means very very little. Iowa has not picked the republican primary candidate correctly since the 70's. I just hope Santorum and Newt can keep it together long enough to prove a point to Romney. This party is sick of Rino's. Time for a true conservative to run.

Reported on radio this morning that Romney actually won by 8 votes over Santorum. Perry was going back to Texas with his tail tucked. Newt was already in New Hampshire. Bachman was still trying to keep up with the boys, despite finishing last.

B in O - Be careful what you wish for. Obama could be the "anybody".

Santorum's surge pretty much proves the original Tea Party movement is dead.

Looks like Bachman is going to bail out of the race at 11AM today. HMB

I can never understand why so much importance is put on these early polls? And this year even more so since every few weeks we have a new leader.

    Silver,
I agree at this point in time many years ago the polls had Carter beating Reagan by a landslide. We can only pray!!!

However, from past experience, that doesn't mean they can't still vote.

Santorum is much closer to a "tea party" candidate than Romney.
