Here's the latest info on SDSSA.

The following is the SDSSA’s Executive Summary of the PA/SI report. This summary was prepared for us by Dr. Richard Peddicord. Dick Peddicord is a leading expert in Environmental Assessment and Management. You can read more about Mr. Peddicord by clicking on his website, http://www.dickpeddicord.com/.
SDSSA is taking the necessary steps to aggressively challenge the CERCLA process. We are of the opinion that the CERCLA process initiated by MCAS Miramar is not required and that a comprehensive Lead Management Plan should be able to address the environmental concerns.
In our discussions with members of Congress and the Marines, both have intimated that SDSSA had a very active letter writing campaign. Writing letters is a way we can get their attention. Writing letters work. Writing a letter to our Congressman is our Chain of Command. Please take a few minutes to write a letter and send it off. You don’t have to be a member of SDSSA to write. Anyone who has enjoyed shooting at SDSSA should write: Organizations, DU, QU, NSCA, SCTP, PVA, NSSA, ATA, other shooting ranges, and members of the NRA, anyone that wants to. SDSSA is asking for your help.
Below, you will find a list of names and addresses of people that can influence our course of action. You can help influence them. Let them know how the cease fire has impacted you and why in your opinion SDSSA should remain open to the public, national shooting programs and to active and retired military personnel. Open to anyone who enjoys shotgun shooting sports.
