Yep, shes gone. After shooting some of my best scores in my shooting career i had to let her go. Shooting a Kolar Max combo. No it was not an impulse purchase but a sound decision. I thank Joel Etchen and Jeff the owner of Kolar with the decision. Jeff was more than helpful and went out of his way for me.

Earl, Martin predicted that you would change guns within a year. Please elaborate on your decision. I'm not so sure that it was the right one.

He didn't loose near as much as he gained. His new Kolar is sweet. I was shocked when he told me what he did as i always read posts of him really defending Blaser. Under the circumstances i can see why he did.

Blasers rifles are outstanding. I own 2. One might shoot a 1000 shells through a rifle in a lifetime. Shooting a 1000 shells a week through a shotgun is a different matter. They need to correct some issues and limited repair facilities don't help.

I used to have a Blasaer combo also. I didn't think it was a bad gun until I traded it for a Krieghoff and people are shittin them selves if they think a Blaser is in the same class a K gun. I am starting to think I may have purchased my last trap gun. Wait, that cant be true can it.
Good luck with your Kolar. I had one of them also. Great gun but way to heavy for me.

Shot 800 through my .223 last week. I have somewhere near 5 thousand out of it and it still can hit a PD right square in the eye at 200.

Barrels are like tires, just change them when they wear out.

Yep, that was my experience with Jeff. You should trundle up to Racine some day and see their operation. Great folk. I hope you shoot well with your Kolar.
