Hi, saw a nice 6 inch barrel model 29 today on consignment, gun shop told me it was pinned and no dash. I cant find no dash listed and was wondering if a no dash is more valuable or if ever even made. also was blued in case and very good condition but looked to have been fired because it had slight ring mark. Is the any particular model 29s more valuable than others. thanks much

Check to see if it has original diamond grips. Just those are worth around $300 these days. Last early 29 I sold about five years ago for $850 with diamond grips. It was mint, and no case.

also the serial # probably begins with N. but the earliest ones begin with S.
