1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Hey Duke2005,
When i put that number in 'search', GB, it bring up the following,
    2 Armalite gen II ar-10 ar10 20rd mags NO C/C fees
Sure you listed the right auction number? Am I doing something wrong?
I think from what i see here and on GB, I'm listing it there for $800 and see what happens.
    Thanks all for your input.

Gunbroker # 332192362 I think is the one he meant.

Newer gun tho...a 19-5 that is nearly unfired.

I used to have one as well, and it was more of a pleasure to shoot with .38 Special than .357. But the .357 sure put a dandy hole in burn barrels.

I checked the latest edition of the Blue Book and was surprised how low the value listed there was compared to "real world - real time" such as Gunbroker.

It makes me wonder if buying the Blue Book for $30+ is even worth fooling with anymore, as a few clicks on Gunbroker advanced search can give you pages of past auction information for free.

RLC - Gunbroker is anything but real time real value- 70-90 percent of the stuff doesnt ever sell- people use it as do small dealers to act as a catalog

Then some of the stuff that does sell shows up again in 2 weeks or 2 months because it never really sold- it was "bid up"

So for the listing fee you are gambling that yours or your friends wont be the final bid- that a bidding frenzy will take hold

    Regards from Iowa

I believe I will stand by my "real-time" statement. I understand that there is some shill bidding on any auction site. But with demand like it is I am not so sure that is common as it was in the past.

If anyone has a Model 19 for sale at the 95% condition price listed in the "Blue Book" please, please, PM me first.
