I hold a pretty high gun and look right down the rib and wait until I see the target then make a smooth move and release the trigger. I shoot a K-80TS un single set up about 80% high POI.

Look like you always did, toward the field. The big advantage of high rib guns is a more heads up position and not having to look around the barrels on your periphery

I guess I'm different - I look under the barrel.

Did you have to make any changes in head position or set up with changing to a high rib gun?

No changes, I hold hi-gun move to the target smoothly when it appears, My sight picture never changed from the low rib to high rib, my gun shoots an 18"inch high impact point. And of course it is a Caesar Guerini the highest shooting factory gun right out of the box made.

Hold a level gun and wait for target to clear barrel. I find it is a lot easier seeing target and pointing gun with a high rib. Target is much clearer with with a high rib. High ribs are here to stay.

High ribs are moving to sporting clays and Olympic bunker shooters. Google "olympic trap guns." Check the pics

The main reason for high ribs is to eliminate heat waves, ever shoot a low rib top single on a warm day??

I doubt many buy a hig rib because of heat waves. The main reasons are to keep your head more erect and the ability to raise your POI.
