So this is a camping spot with no hookups? Basically a high rent parking spot?

Explain to me please what the situation is on spaces as above for rent. Does the person doing the subleasing have a long term lease and a right to sublet the space or what. I know the state of Ill. owns the property.

The State of Illinois does own the property. When Sparta was begun 5 years ago, the State (through the Illinois Dept of Natural Resources aka IDNR) set up leases for the camping spots. As I understand, one could purchase a 5 or 10 year lease. After the fee was paid, the lessee had the rights to use the camping spot during the Grand and one or maybe two other shoots during any given year.

Recently, the ATA has taken over the administration of the camping spots. You can check the ATA website for the name of the ladies to contact, should you wish.

I managed to find a local gentleman who had purchased a 10 year lease and wanted to sell the remaining 5 years, which I purchased. Under the terms, I have to let ATA know 30 days in advance of an event if i am going to use the spot. I assume that if I don't use it, they can sublease it. Or, I assume I could also sublease it and inform ATA.
