    Rush enraged by Obama

PALM BEACH, Fla. – As the murder trial of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin heads toward a conclusion, radio powerhouse Rush Limbaugh says the case should never have been prosecuted.

“This is a trial that should not even be occurring,” Limbaugh declared on his national radio program Wednesday.

“This is a trial occurring because the [Obama] administration wants to promote racial division in this country. I don’t know how else to describe this. There’s no case here.”

Zimmerman, 29, is accused of second-degree murder in the February 26, 2012, death of Martin, a 17-year-old from Miami who was staying with his father in Sanford, the Central Florida town where Zimmerman lived.

Limbaugh noted that when Barack Obama was campaigning to be president and once he was elected to office, many people presumed America’s racial divide would finally be a thing of the past.

“Obama’s gonna unite us and all of this racial strife is gonna end. All of this racism and this perceived racism is gonna end,” Limbaugh said was the prevailing theme.

“And we had a bunch of white people hoping that it would show that they’re not racist, to finally prove it, wipe out the vestiges of slavery and the world was gonna love us. How’s that working out in terms of American foreign policy?”

“And we’re gonna end all this partisanship, we’re gonna be unified, we’re gonna work together toward a common goal, we’re gonna

In my opinion zero wants race riots. What better way to bury his scandals on the back page and maybe even justify some civil shutdowns?

    Justice Department facilitated anti-Zimmerman protests......

A division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) was deployed to Sanford, Florida in 2012 to provide assistance for anti-George Zimmerman protests, including a rally headlined by activist Al Sharpton, according to newly released documents.

The Community Relations Service (CRS), a unit of DOJ, reported expenses related to its deployment in Sanford to help manage protests between March and April 2012, according to documents obtained by the watchdog group Judicial Watch.

CRS spent $674.14 between March 25-27 related to having been “deployed to Sanford, FL, to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.” CRS spent another $1,142.84 for the same purpose between March 25-28.

CRS spent $892.55 “to provide support for protest deployment in Florida” between March 30-April 1, and $751.60 “to provide technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31.”

Jerbear, that article is implying that the DOJ was organizing protests when more likely they were only helping law enforcement to organize a response to any protests.

Looks like its time to fill all your magazines and keep spare ammo handy--especially if you have drive in an urban area.

The only gig zero the clown had before he was elected was community organizer, and all a community organizer does is cause strife until they get their way, that is the only procedure he knows

These reports are all coming from right winger organizations with an axe to grind. They are playing all of you like a fiddle.

    In the posted links:

•April 3 – 12, 2012, CRS spent $1,307.40 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance, conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanford.”

Notice the words conciliation and mediation. For those that don't know those words ,that is conflict resolution.

Who was the DOJ authorized to mediate for? In this case, I believe that the conciliation was for the express purpose of making sure that Zimmerman was charged with something. The SPD originally was going to pass. With our racist DOJ that was just not going to happen.

I don't see anywhere that this department, or the Fed DOJ was requested, or asked to intercede by any of the parties. Lawyers are wordsmiths, and they are not going to notate actually strong-arming, railroading or intimidating the locals into this classic over reaction.

Further, you notice that no one from the DOJ or specific departments involved are refuting the accounts of those "right-wing' news sites. If it walks like a duck, it's a duck, regardless of what the D-dung beetles are flinging.

Kip, that is as concise, cogent, and honest a retort as you have ever written.

Kipling, you are simply twisting this around to suit your views by supplying an ulterior motive.

" I believe that the conciliation was for the express purpose of making sure that Zimmerman was charged with something."

That is not what conciliation is and not what was stated in the links.

It says: "conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanford.” Is that so hard to understand?

    John,john,

First, "conciliation" is done privately, with each side of a dispute. What business did the DOJ have there in clandestine talks with either side? It was, and is a Florida state issue - pure and simple. Again, who asked them there? You are the only one that is attempting to distract from these most pertinent facts.

My summation is as spot-on as can be done without transcripts and first-party information. That is why I was looking for the DOJ to dispute what is in the available reports. Justice Watch, a very reputable organization, has been litigating a FOIA request for over a year on this issue; from the "most transparent administration" ever!

Finally, I clearly stated that my comments were my opinion. You, on the other hand, are still desperately trying to give legitimacy to an illegitimate, intrusive and bully pulpit DOJ intrusion. If, you actually believe what you wrote, you are one entrenched, politically blind individual. I'm done feeding trolls.
