At a singles event, the shooter calls for a target, and 2 targets are released, the shooter shoots, and breaks the target, no call from the scorer, the next shooter shoots. Then an observer tells the scorer that the last 2 shooters must shoot over, first shooter can't score from a malfunctioning trap.An argument ensued, some claimed it was an illegal target and when the shooter shot the result was scored, the referee disagreed, said it was a "no" target, and the 2 shooter's must shoot the last target over. What say you? Thanks

    No Target.

Its a do over for both shooters.

The no target requires shooter #1 to re-shoot.

Shooter # 2 has to shoot his target over because he shot out of turn.

It is a good idea to have a Rule Book in your back pocket!
