1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I had read somewhere that these guns were rather hard to obtain. It was almost like you had to be an "insider" with the Ruger co in order to purchase one?

Read the manual. Never saw one. Was it made as an o/u and therefor a combo. It looks to me that it was well designed with all the bells and whistles.

MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION -- WHY WASN'T IT MADE ? AND BE WOULD IT NOT HAVE SOLD?

israel-it was made-i heard not many-it is an Unsingle not a combo. The year it came out it was the cover gun of the Ruger Cataloge. I ordered one instantly-but never got it.

I used to have one. They are not part of a combo, only one firing pin. To the best of my knowledge, Ruger only made about 300 of these guns. They were only made for one year.

Mine shot very well, and I didn't notice the recoil that I always heard about these guns.

yes rare is the word here , if you wanted this you better buy it , not many at all, i bet ruger would cover the parts cause its on a redlabel frame, i shot a test gun at the grand american the year before they came out, shot great it was goin to be rugers answer to the browning BT99 plus, all adjustable in all the right areas, but as stated it never got on line to be produced i guess it wasnt a combo it was a unisingle only, in stainless only ,just givin it a bump
