NBC NEWZ reports Ron Paul 3% points behind Romney and easily outdistanced Santorum (17%) and Gingrich (8%)

The talk-over portion of the segment had the "top tier" candidates featured prominently and Paul was shown in a sweater for about .7 of one second, without reference to his name. Fair and balanced??

    Ron Paul = Not Owned.

It should come as no surprise that liberal Romney won this liberal state. If the voting continues to spread the votes around and we get to the convention with no one holding the required eleven hundred something delegates, this may be the most interesting republican convention in history. One can only hope.

If we get to a brokered convention, I wonder if a dark horse who is not even mentioned at the moment could emerge - like perhaps a John Bolton.

The Ron Paul dope-smokers have yet to explain how legalizing Marijuana and free, open immigration will bring America back to greatness.

But hey...12 Million stoned Mexicans can't be wrong, right?

(New Ron Paul slogan: "From America to Amsterdam in Ten Years Flat!)

    Buzz-gun

Show me where Ron Paul made those statements about open boarders. Unless you are a non drinker of alcohol, you are just talking about your drug of choice.

Maybe you should read his platform before buying into made up stuff.

bigdogtx, Maine is certainly a state of political contradictions. It does not reflect that Ron Paul has the most conservative voting record in Congress. Real votes cast in real sessions of lawmaking. (not "present") This is what the media excluding Judge Napolitano (just cancelled!) or John Stossel won't cover. So.. I thought 'why not' and pulled this up on google:
    :

The best way to judge a candidate’s consistency to their principals is by examining their voting record. Below is a list of important legislation and how Congressman Paul voted. See the complete voting record for Ron Paul at VoteSmart.org

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    • Voted AGAINST the Patriot Act
    • Voted AGAINST regulating the Internet
    • Voted AGAINST the Iraq War
    • Voted AGAINST the Bank and General Motors Bailouts
    • Voted AGAINST the Obama administrations Health Care Reform
    • Voted AGAINST the use of U.S. armed forces in Libya
    • Voted AGAINST the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act
    • Voted AGAINST the unionazation of the TSA
    • Voted AGAINST increasing the federal debt limit
    • Voted AGAINST agains federal regulation of same sex marriage
    • Voted AGAINST the DREAM act
    • Voted AGAINST the Real ID act
    • Voted FOR prohibiting tax payer funded abortions
    • Voted FOR prohibiting federal funding of National Public Radio
    • Voted FOR abolishing federal funding of Presidential Election Campaigns
    • Voted FOR removing armed forces from Pakistan
    • Voted FOR prohibiting increase congressional pay
    • Voted FOR legalization of medical marijuana

Pon Paul actually runs on his record.

I grabbed this about Rick. It is an opinion and I did not verify it. Again grabbed on google:,

"Rick Santorum Calls For Regulating the Internet and Believes Freedom Should be Limited
GOP Presidential candidate Rick Santorum has a freedom problem. He says there is too much freedom on the Internet and it should be regulated. He was the only candidate that did not take a strong stand against SOPA and PIPA and called for regulating the Internet and said freedom should be limited. He called those that want limited government “radical individualism”. Rick Santorum is no conservative. Don’t be fooled by this authoritarian masquerading as a conservative"

did you read about the president of vote smart???? I would bet that he left out some tidbits on Ron. While Ron has a good heart and some good ideas, he would not make a good president due to his foreign views....

    Richard Kimball
    President
Responsible for fundraising and the integrity of Board-approved policies and standards. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Richard served on the staffs of Congressman Morris K. Udall, Senator Walter F. Mondale, and Senator Daniel P. Moynihan. He is also a former Arizona State Senator and Corporation Commissioner.

When a pending senate bill is a choice of legislating more or less socialism, one can ALWAYS count on Collins and Snowe to side with liberal democrats. They're both ignorant twits.

Seems as though 15-18% of the votes are not being counted. Whats with that?
