    Romney

The dot on Romney’s oversize American flag pin is the Secret Service star logo imposed over the stripes, a custom version created for agents and fans. The pin — for decorative purposes only, not security clearance — was a gift to Romney from his protective detail.
Funny............ Obamas agents did not give him a pin! LOL!

What is your source? Of course a pin has nothing to do with clearances. This is not the most enlightened statement you've ever made.

The Secret Service AND the Armed Forces serve the office, the constitution, our counrty.

" The pin - for decorative purposes only, not security clearance - was a gift to Romney from his protective detail, but it’s also sold at the Secret Service store in Washington and traded by staffers, just like Olympic pins."

The rest of the sentence has been conveniently omitted. A trinket from the SS store.

That was very intelligent, bill, why don't you send it to Jeffrey Immelt, Obama's jobs czar. GE must have a place for you.

You too can work for fish heads and rice.

    LOL

    But

My wife noticed during the debate that his pin was bigger than Obama's -- funny how people focus on different things

She pointed that out to me

    Regards from Iowa

    Gene

PS- maybe that is what attracted her to me originally- size matters

Funny thing, yesterday, I was changing out some light switches and mentioned how brittle and stiff the wiring was due to age.

I heard my wife mutter under her breath, "Too bad that is the only thing that gets stiff with age" True story.

I did notice Romneys was bigger than Obama,,really didn't matter to me except tired of hearing people say he doesn't respect the flag.Maybe he has determined supporting it even a little, may win some votes.

Wouldn't the same rules apply for pins like the do for the flag itself? See 7th paragraph down.
