Obama's belief in 2nd. Amendment rights are well known, just not remotely mentioned as a campaign issue. Mitt Romney has put his in writing. Govern yourselves accordingly in November.

Not what he said or did as governor. He was anti gun as he could be. (Lots of liberal votes in Mass.)

Please clarify how Mitt Romney was anti-gun while he was governor of Massachusetts. Perhaps I've missed something.

Which would you rather have, One who bends to the pressure of the truth or One who wants you to bend at his presence???

Last time I checked, "Hail to the Chief" was a SONG!

I would like to why we can't find just one person, in all of America, that is smart, honest, and flip and flop around like a carp on a hot boat deck on every issue as it changes with the winds.

Surely we can do better than Jimmy Carter, Bush II, and the Current Occupant.

Stl Flyn, quote: <i>"I want to know what Brian thinks?"</i>

    Really?

    OK, here's what I think...

I'm very fatigued, in a lot of pain, and don't need any more stress.

I've responded on this subject before and posted Romney's own quotes and videos, and facts. I'm not feeling up to getting into another purse fight over Romney.

I don't recall Mitt Romney signing any anti-Second Amendment bills while he was the governor of Massachusetts, but I do recall him signing a number of pro-gun bills. In fact, no anti-sportsmans bills ever reached his desk while he was in office.

    I know. I live here.

Model Number 12 , Romney signed a ban on assault weapons as Massachusetts governor. Do a search on the subject, it is simple.

    Johnny,

The NRA endorses Romney. Do you really think they would do that if he was anti-gun. In the NRA magazine they made their stand on his actions in Massachussetts clear by noting that he was governor of Mass, not Texas, not Virginia.

Besides, he could be pretty anti-gun and still not get even close to Obama. There is an easy choice.

Mitt Romney did not sign any assault weapons ban in Massachusetts, period.

    My facts are in order.

I went to the Mass official site and looked at their assault rifle gun ban, passed in 2004.

The law states specific names of rifles that are banned such as the AK47 and AR15 and includes any other brands that duplicate such models.

    Romney was governer until 2006.

If you search "Romney extends gun control" you will find dozens of stories referring to the bill signing ceremony which Romney signed the bill and was quoted saying such weapons have no place in Mass.

But you know what? Am still voting for him and any Republican senate and house candidates on my ballot, because I think Romney is less threat than Obama and I will depend on my senators and represenative to write the laws.
