rollin, stock lop?

    rollin, what is usually the best lenghth of pull? does shorter stock swing better or longer stocks? which length usually gives you a better sight picture? thanks

    Ed has the best answer. There are no simple answers to your questions. Stock length is affected by the length of a shooter's neck, the height of the gun mount and the stance used. These determinations assume the correct pitch on the stock, which can, but not necessarily does, affect the length. (Too little pitch requires a longer stock to prevent the nose and thumb meeting as the toe of the pad buries itself in the chest during recoil.

    The best length is the one that allows the correct shooting form to be used. Stock length, assuming it is somewhere close to correct, has no effect on sight picture.
