Being embaressed to be a life long resident of the state of coruption (Illinois).I and many of us hold our heads low. Politics in this state are a joke at every level you will find corpution. Burris and Durbin are just two more examples of what is wrong with America!

Sad thing here is that Burris was effective earlier in his career, but he will be remembered as one who bought a tainted Senate seat... Looking at all the Bozos from every other state...

Us folks from Illinois don't have to hang our heads or apologize to anybody... we've picked some doozies over the years and we've picked some really decent representation... show me the one state who hasn't had bad apples...

Illinois is just in one of its cycles right now (LOL)!

    Thank you very much!

    Jay

Unfortunately, Nevada pushes the limits of insanity with our gift of Harry Reid. Perhaps the nastiest thing we could have done to our country ..... sorry

Hey Wolf, at least Reid voted FOR the concealed carry reciprocity bill unlike either of the Senators from the great pro-gun state of Ohio...

They don't call him "Dick, the human weathervane Durbin" for nothing. As far a that other little POS, just ignore him, the public has. Unfortunately the little butt breath has a vote until next year.

    "spitter"....distinguished service?

Early reports when he was nominated to fill the opening described his various posts as "rather undistinguished"....A "nice guy" who failed to accomplish much. Well, he has now. Turned another Il position into a national joke.

What will be the last entry on his cemetery edifice? Roland Burris, first black total failure in US Senate? (oops, we had Carol Mosely Braun, never mind)

Burris has already announced that he will not run for reelection. Not even Chicago's famous dead voters would contribute to his campaign fund.

I wish I could say the same thing about Durbin. I can still remember his blubbering apology in the Senate a few years ago. His first name is no accident.
