I havent shot any registered targets since 2008 my yardage was 22.5 I had an 88 average but didn't get a reduction why? Does it only go off your average at that yardage?

    Thanks
    Zach

    Ask your delegate!!!!

I have had a few questions (I am the Wyoming Delegate) and Kathy Key has answered anything that has come up.

Remember though, she cannot read minds and she is doing a lot of hand work, so give her a day or two.

Kathy has done a great job through all this and probably deserves a medal or something.

My reduction said that I had to refuse it if I had a punch in the last 1000 targets. Someone from my state called Kathy and she said to ignore it. Can you? How do you document that?

The gals at the ATA Office put the "regular" information into the first groups of cards that they sent out. They were just following the normal procedure.

That practice was discontinued for subsequent mailings.

If you were offered the 2-yard reduction you can: take it, refuse it (online is the quickest method), or have it changed to a 1-yd reduction.

Paid members who were below their Zone break point were offered the 2-yd reduction without regard to recent punches or previously set codes (D, K, Y, H, etc (except L)). Previously set codes were reinstated once the group of eligible recipients was determined.

I was told it is based ON the last 1000 targets shot in handicap, average them out and see if you are below the break point---

I called the ata office today to see if I was going to be getting a 2 yd reduction and the gal there told me "no" I have to stay right where I am at 22yds. So I am not one of the lucky ones to get a reduction.......... and I really wanted it!

The reduction was based on your last 1,000 targets only if you had at least 1,000 targets. If you had less, then the reduction was based on however many you have shot.

I had at least two new shooters with less than 1,000 handicap targets who were offered the reduction.
