Republicans plan for a Presidential candidates debate at the Reagan Library.

President Obama schedules his address to a joint session of Congress for the same night. Joint sessions of Congress meet in the House of Representatives.

Speaker of the House Boehner writes to the president and says 'Sorry, that date won't work, you can't use the House chambers that night.

    Good.

Maybe next time he will ask in advance, instead of demanding via press conference.

So what's the problem. Obama can change his time as he hasn't reached dictator level yet.

Unless we accept that Obama is incredibly ignorant and stupid (which is a definite posibility) then the only answer is he deliberately picked that night to upstage the Republicans and draw attention to himself.

Good for Boehner. Kick Zero to the curb.

Obama giving a jobs speech? How laughable is that? The d!ckhead has been the President for over 2-1/2 years, so if he had any clue how to create a job I doubt he'd have kept it in his pocket till now.

Probably another "Stimulus" to mindlessly throw more money into the wind.

CBS saying Obozo was wrong? Is the world coming to an end?

Now it's important. Of course he had to pospone it until he came back from 2 weeks vacation.

BIGDON - Actually if he wanted to make the speech before a joint session of Congress he had to wait until Congress came back from vacation.

The President has been ill served by his staff in this matter. Perhaops they thought it would be a good idea to schedule this fiasco against the Republican Presidential Candidates' debate. Perhaps it was a simple error. In either case, the White House has had to step back which makes the President look like the loser. Watch for the White House to now claim that they were the good guys and the great compromisers in this affair and that they should be given credit for being so.

Actually it matters not a whit since all we will hear is more Democrat class warfare drivel.

    Observations:

He does not need to appear before houses to lay out his plan.

He will not say anything new or anything he has not already said before, because what needs to be done he and the Dems cannot do, because it violates their belief system.

No one will be watching him anyway, whatever debate, football game, reality or talent show or watching paint dry tv show will draw larger numbers.

Next day the stock market will take a dive.

Last night on the O'Reilly Factor Dick Morris had an interesting thought. Let Obama have his speech and then have the Republican debate participants do the rebuttal. That would be an hour of really bashing Obama's speech.

Now watch Obama raise his hands in the air and preach to the masses how he compromises with the Republicans and our problems are their fault because they wont compromise with him.

All this makes a person wonder if it wasn't just political strategy on the Democrats part.

When one holds power, it is not easily given up.

The Dems have always been able to snooker the Republicans, because they have no morals and will do anything to obtain and retain power.
