Our club has installed permanent mics on the 16 yd line. This makes it easy for someone coming out to shoot a couple of rounds of singles to get set up. Because the mics are in the weather all of the time, they need to be replaced quite often. Someone has purchased a case of cheap, 8 ohm, Chinese mics. These work most of the time but the quality (and price)is low. does anyone know of a better quality replacement that will be less expensive than the Canterbury's?

    Thanks

Look at the Speco SPC-6P. I just swap out the connector and they work fine. Mark

I have been buying decent speakers for outdoor use less than $12 from electronics store in columbus, Ohio

Attaching some 1 quart zip lock bags to the mic stand to cover the mics when not in use will prevent a lot of weather related failure issues.
