    1. If McCain is a Democrat, how did he get millions of votes as a Republican?

    2. If the RNC did not know McCain was a democrat, why would anyone want to be a Republican? Is the RNC really that stupid?

    3. Who is this Chris Simcox? Did he know McCain was a democrat? Who did he vote for?

The country needs two strong political parties, not just one and a whack job splinter group run by a few churches with no answers to real problems.

I agree but I can't vote in your state.

I can only hope he gets defeated.

He was just what the media wanted to run against their socialist boy obama.

Hey Skeet100 what do you mean you cannot vote in another state? ACORN had the same voters in every state.......

You are right(Honest) but, WE can send donations to the states that have anti-gun senators and Rep's. Just to name a few states that need serious change is Pennsylvania, California, Illinois.

McCain has shown his true colors many times but the elderly retired people love him because he goes and sits with them to make them feel important before every election (typical Politician) ... The Democrates probably all voted for McCain to represent the Republican party in the primary so Obama would more or less be a shoe in ... This is a common practice if they do not have a competent opponant to run against the opposite party ... Palin has more cojones that McCain but she was never a POW so that eliminated some of her electablity (is that a word ?) and then McCain turned on her at the end and used her as an excuse for him losing when it was clearly his own damn fault ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Troubling news abound in this WSJ article and the news that we have a surplus of Army National Guardsmen.

A Pacific Warning: Australia prepares for U.S. decline

If Australia is concerned about the security of the Pacific region we know our enemies are also paying attention. Our Western flank and the Gulf of Mexico are already vulnerable security risks, examples being boatloads of drugs and illegal aliens found beached as far north as Santa Barbara. Our southern border and the Gulf coast of Texas and Mexico is rife with organized smuggling operations. The resourceful transportation techniques include cartels utilizing ultralight aircraft, scuba divers and even a small fleet of drug smuggling submarines.

Even though The U.S. Coast Guard added the Cutter Bertholf, the first of the Legend class National Security Cutter fleet, and three more are under construction, the future of our Pacific region dominance is now under a planned contraction over the next 20 years.

Australia is bulking up its defenses in response to our inability to defend the region and understands under the current administration the situation will get worse before it gets better. Obama has no interest in stimulating our economy through a strong national defense and no doubt the enemies of America are plotting to exploit our well advertised weak links in Regional Homeland Security. China owns the Panama Canal and is building military defenses in our back yard.

Obama seems to be missing the obvious in addressing border and coastal security. A couple of hundred new special agents are planned to address a major security crisis while tens of thousands of Army reservists are not used to fill the gap to prevent any illegal entry in remote under protected areas. Instead of cutting back on recruitment and actually planning to reduce the numbers of personnel why are we not utilizing them to secure our borders and coasts?

People need jobs and we have plenty of work to accomplish along our borders and coastal boundaries; let's put America to work defending America. A strong defense is for the common good, it's common sense and it's Constitutionally sound practice and the mandated responsibility of our U.S. Senate. The only jobs Obama has any business creating and funding are defense jobs because his oath is to protect our life, liberty and our pursuit of happiness. Thank God for those who serve in our U.S. military, the more the better.

Trab what does your last post have to do with McCain? If it doesn't why would you confuse your own thread with another subject?

If you wish to start another subject why not start a second thread some time these threads are hard enough to follow with out adding another subject to them. JMO you understand.

We need to replace them ALL. A whole new crew couldn't do worse and it might wake up the political world to what the people really want and need.

Do you really think the Republican Party will get more votes by getting smaller?

Who will the hard right types always vote for? The Republican candidate. The party can safely take them for granted. The party needs to expand, not contract. If it already has the hard right vote (with some belly aching) where can it look for more votes? How can it appeal to independents?

    Not by excluding them.

    Unless you like being losers.

Charles 1100, you could not possibly be more wrong. In the last pres election conservatives stayed home in truckloads rather than vote for a RINO. The (now deceased) republicRATS have never won by being democRAT light, as proven in the last election.

What good is a two party system if they are both the same. I would like to see the Republican party get rid of all their RINO's not vote more of them in. And I disagree with voting them all out. My senators vote very conservative. No need to replace either of them.

Talk of "two strong parties" makes me think that we have two parties all right; one is liberal and the other is more liberal......Bob Dodd

The Republican Party has made the term "conservative," almost laughable. What is it they are trying to conserve? Their own selfish interests?, because it certain isn't doing the country any good. Being Conservative is, or at least was, noble, letting the party destroy it is not.

The party will come back whether it is conservative or not. The Democrats will self destruct. They always do. You have one party rule right now. That will insure complete corruption. Right now everyone is afraid of Obama. They won't be forever. He can only get away with blaming Bush for his failures for a few more years. Eventually even the dumbest Americans will know that Obama doesn't have a clue how to run this country. Higher taxes and trillions of dollars debt will catch up to all of us in time. Right now we are like a family living off of new credit cards. The trouble is some day you have to pay them back. The diehards will support Obama to the end. He is no different than Castro and Chavez. Cut out of the same Marxist cloth. Even as he destroys this country there will always be the his loyal supporters. Those who want to live off the government and get even with those with more than they have.

    "laughable", "selfish"? Get a clue.

What is laughable, selfish, and despicable, is the fact that Pelosi is on her fourth set of 'waterboarding' lies. She is rightfully being taken to task for her point blank lies. Just ask the CIA.

Hussein can't fill his cabinet posts because there aren't any honest dumocrats. The dumocrat party is destroying itself, and this country, big time, right before your very eyes.

Only 18 months until the next election. That's why Obmama is rushing things through. There could be a major throwing out of senators and representatives and I think some are worried as they should be.
