I need to replace the locking block and cocking rod on 680 Beretta. Can someone suggest a good How-to Manual?

Above is a link to an Adobe file on the Cole Gunsmithing web site showing the parts breakdown of the 680 series Beretta. I assume by locking block you are referring to part #27 which is the Locking Latch which is size specific. There are 4 sizes which become progressively larger in diameter. The holes that they fit into in the barrel have to be bored accordingly to match the locking latch. Unless you have the correct equipment to do this kind of work, I don't think this is the sort of thing you want to attempt. I had these items replaced by Beretta at the Grand and the cost was very price effective (labor charge was next to nothing). Bill Malcolm
