Removing stock from Beretta 687 EL/EELL ?

    I've removed Beretta 687 stocks many times, but never EL/EELL.......I'm assuming the side screws need to be removed....that looks difficult because of the very narrow slots....help appreciated.

    I did one on a buddies EELL. I hand ground screwdriver bits to fit the slot heads, they are much thinner than you'll find on most gunsmithing screwdriver sets. And be aware, they are sex bolts, so you need to hold the one side in place while you turn the other side, or it will just spin and spin. So you need 2 ground bits and 2 screw drivers, a steady hand, and a little bit of nerve LOL.

    Also mark which screw came from which hole as they clock them so the slots align just so

    Thanks...ground a couple screwdrivers and being very careful got it done
