REMOVING FRONT BEAD FROM BT-100

    how do i remove the front bead from my new to me bt-100 ?
    i want to put a fiber optic type bead-just what i like.

    It should just unscrew, but the problem is, it is white metal and very easy to snap. Try a little oil to loosen it up. I think they make a tool that grabs it correctly to remove it. My Buddy just had his loosen up so that why I'm sure it unscrews.

    Just screw it out gently with a pliers being careful not to contact the rib!!

    Best use I've found for a crescent wrench. Adjust to fit square shoulder and gently turn counter clockwise to remove. Be cautious not to let wrench drag on rib so as not to damage bluing.
