I have done it before when the gun was new but hadn't done it for awhile

I followed the instructions in the manual but no luck

So, what is the secret ?

    Dan,

It's a little tricky. It can be done easier if you sit down on your bed after taking a shower.

    1) Push the safety switch forward over fire position like the way you remove Perazzi trigger, you'll see a white dot & hear a "click" sound if you follow my instruction in a quiet bed room.

    2) While holding the switch at it's all the way forward position, use your other hand to push the top lever to the right, partially open the action.

    3) Use one of your clean foot/toe (sit on your bed, after the shower) to pull out the trigger group while both hands holding the switch & lever. :)

The shower part is the part I left out

    Otherwise I did exactly that

When you say move the lefer to the right and slightly open the action - is there just a slight hairline opening or does it really open ?

I was pushing the safety up and the lever to the right and I darn near ran out of hands trying to pull the trigger out

I will try it again tonight after I take a shower

As I remember it - they wanted to make a trigger that didnt drop out accidently

I guess a screw wouldnt have worked

the action will open- but you want it barely to open to maintain stability

both of you are right, the shower is necessary. the breach should open slightly. you will hear a faint click. i use my right thumb to push the safety up, left thumb to move the lever to the right, and right fingers to pull the trigger out. i can't get my foot up that far.

remember, just the opposite, when installing too.

Presumably you are using the factory stock. When I have my wood PFS grips on the DT 10 the trigger will not come out. It goes in and out as above with the factory stock. I think the PFS grip is too tight on the action. So far, it has not been a problem.

Jon - the shower trick only works on factory stocks

I think I read that somewhere
