    Hi Folks.
Just bought a used Beretta Silver Pigeon (before they put I or III on them) 20 gauge with 28" barrels. Couldn't help myself it was so pretty and petite.
Anyway... It has an automatic safety.
How do I disable the auto safety?

    Thanks for the info.

If you are mechanically inclined, take off the rear stock and watch how it works, as you work the action. Once you see the rod that sets the safety, remove it. I cut mine with a dremel and took out the pieces. It that sounds like a daunting task to you, take it to a gunsmith and let them do it. Mark

There is some good information on SGW about that safety. Seems as though you can cut it out, bend it out, or drop the trigger group and take it out and turn it around if you want to save it. Click the link.

I took the stock off and was able to just bend it out with a pair of needle nose pliers. The metal was pretty soft so try that first. Just go slow and careful and you should be able to do it in a few minutes.
