I would like to remove a threaded bead from my shotgun that I recently threaded it in with blue loctite. Is there a recommended solvent I should treat it with before trying to turn it out. I don’t want to break it off in the rib. Would acetone do the trick?

I believe heat is going to be your best bet.

Use a hair dryer to heat it up and it will easily unscrew. Fred

Grunt is correct, no special treatment needed to remove it.

Hit it with a soldering iron.
